Contact us if you would like to know more about Tai Chi with us at Batsford Arboretum or elsewhere.
And if you would like a similar alternative, why not come to our Qigong course at the Arboretum in August?
Join us and learn Tai Chi in a truly glorious setting, as seen on BBC's Countryfile.
There are a number of strictly limited places available on our Learn Tai Chi in a Morning course in the most wonderful setting of Batsford Arboretum in the Cotswolds, near Moreton-in-Marsh.
Aimed at beginners, and designed to be suitable for the over 60s*, the course will run:
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, 28th July.
It's difficult to imagine a better setting for Tai Chi, and at under £29, including entrance to the Arboretum for the morning, it's incredible value.
The course will be taught by our Director of Internal Arts, Neil R. Hall, in the Arboretum itself, and if the British weather doesn't allow that, we can take cover in the Arboretum's new education centre.
Follow your session with lunch in the restaurant, and continue to enjoy fabulous views over the Cotswolds.
So book now to secure your place, or contact us if you'd like to know more.
Some things to note.
The course is in the popular Yang Style Tai Chi, and will cover an introduction to Tai Chi, the basic principles, and the opening section of the Yang Style Short Form. This covers the same ground as LCTKD's very popular Beginners Level 1 course.
The course can be treated as a one-off, if you want. You can learn the movements and use our free videos to continue to study at home. Or, if you'd like to do more, your tutor will explain how to carry on with your Tai Chi - there are even weekly classes at the Arboretum itself!
When you book, we'll send you details about where to meet, what to wear, what to expect, and all that sort of thing. We'll also happily answer any questions you have.
If for any unforeseen reason the course does not go ahead, your course fee will be refunded in full.
*You do not have to be over 60 to join the course. Though it is designed to be suitable for over 60s, everyone is welcome.
