About the Course

Qi is one of the most misunderstood topics in martial arts.

In this straightforward course, Neil R. Hall explains what Qi is, what it isn't, and what it may be, drawing on Chinese history and culture, concepts from Traditional Chinese Medicine, and insights from modern science.

The course is filled with exercises in experiencing, understanding and cultivating Qi, and explores how to use it to improve your martial arts and your health.

It is a practical course – you join in, and learn as you go along.  No special equipment is needed, and the course is suitable for people who study Tai Chi, and also people who study other martial arts.
